The café-racer

[ENG] It was a present, actually. Athanasios Papathanasiou's father, a cycling enthusiast, heard about me cycling to Zakynthos on an MTB some two years ago, so decided to offer me this amazing, old-school, Mercier bicycle. We call it a “café-racer”. It may lack the braking abilities of modern cycles, but it’s pretty easy to keep some decent pace on the asphalt. Plus, I already love it. Then I convinced my photographer-buddy, mr. Thanasis Koutsogiannis to take some pictures of me posing… sorry I meant riding the café-racer. And here is the end result…

Ξέρω ‘γω;

Our night

Let’s make love tonight, dear
Like lunatics, like lovers, like madmen
Never without feelings
Or maybe not…
Let’s lie on the thick carpet
Starring at the blue and yellow flames
Feeling the heat in our bodies,
The burning in our hearts.
My hand gently caressing your back,
The back of your head
Your cheeks, your nose, your neck
And, when finally reaching that point,
“Please, don’t stop”,
I can hear you whispering.
And I won’t.

Transanatolia Rally 2012

[ENG] So, there was Turkey, and the trip following Transanatolia Rally was a proper adventure. The people we met! Antalya to... somewhere that we never really got to know untill, seven days later, we ended up in Alanya. The tragic incident came in Day3. Two riders lost instantly. Then they said that life should go on. The race went on for sure. And we went on foolishly acting like immortals, laughing at life, drinking at the bivouac's restaurant. We even drove high, up at 3.050 meters above sea level on our sweeper's 4x4. It's amazing how the Turks look and act like us Greeks. But there is some much more to say...
It was a long, long way
They call him eşek
Tea, all day long
Something like yogurt with water and salt.
Not my thing
Lunch
My house at 2.200mts
Gone, but never forgotten

Και γιατί να αγχώνομαι;

Και γιατί να αγχώνομαι;
